On March 14, a delegation from the University of Leeds, led by Professor Hemant Pandit, Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine, visited HMU. Deputy Secretary Wu Yuming and representatives from relevant departments attended the exchange meeting.

Wu Yuming warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of HMU’s educational profile and ongoing collaborations with the University of Leeds. She praised Leeds’ efforts in talent cultivation and medical research and expressed hope for deeper cooperation in talent development and orthopedics.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on potential collaborations in medical education and orthopedic research. The delegation also visited HMU’s History Museum and the Orthopedic Research Institute at the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, where they exchanged ideas on clinical and research partnerships in orthopedics.
