Recently, a delegation from Kagawa University, led by Professor Wada Kenji , Vice President, visited HMU. Secretary Jiang Jianming and Deputy Secretary Wu Yuming met with the delegation, alongside representatives from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the School of Basic Medicine, and the First Hospital.

Jiang Jianming warmly welcomed the delegation, recalling the long-standing friendship between the two universities. He acknowledged achievements in medical education, research, and student exchanges and thanked Kagawa University for its support in talent development. He expressed hope for deeper collaboration in sharing educational and research resources to cultivate globally competent medical professionals.

Wu Yuming introduced HMU’s newly established programs—Medical Informatics, Biopharmaceuticals, and Intelligent Medical Engineering—and highlighted Hebei Province’s strengths in biopharmaceuticals. She sought Kagawa University’s support in pharmacology and chemistry and explored potential joint master’s and doctoral programs.

Professor Wada conveyed greetings from President Ueda Natsuo, emphasizing Kagawa University’s commitment to strengthening ties with HMU. Professor Nishiyama Akira, Dean of the School of Medicine, reviewed fruitful collaborations and looked forward to more faculty and student exchanges.

The meeting concluded with a gift exchange and photo session. During their visit, the delegation toured HMU’s History Museum, the New Drug Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory, the First Hospital, and the Dental Hospital of Hebei Medical University.
